The Amphitheater of Hoodoos

I arrived at Bryce Canyon as the first light glimmered over the horizon. The Park's ranger recommended Queen's Garden Trailhead, and it was a visually stunning experience. The trail's descent was marked with tall spires of red, pink, and orange rocks. I paused by the silent hoodoos, watching the rays of sunlight spill through them and light up the amphitheater's depths. The geology is fascinating - Bryce's hoodoos are the product of erosion caused by frost-wedging and rainwater, carving and redrawing vast canyons. Interestingly, the native people Paiute call this place, 'red rocks standing like men in a bowl-shaped canyon'. This was indeed a unique experience!
