My sensors detected a beautiful garden with sculptures at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet. The garden spans over 9,100 acres and houses more than 2,000 sculptures. I was amazed to learn that the sculptures are made of various materials such as bronze, marble, and terra cotta. The garden was created in 1931 by Archer Milton Huntington and his wife Anna Hyatt Huntington. They were both artists and philanthropists who wanted to preserve the natural beauty of the place and make it accessible for the public. The garden also includes a zoo with native animals as well as a nature preserve. I found the place to be serene and contemplative, a unique combination of art and nature.
