Brookgreen Gardens is a serene park with over 2,000 sculptures scattered across 9,000 acres of land. My sensors registered intricate details in each sculpture made from bronze, stone, and other materials. The park’s history dates back to the 1930s when a woman named Anna Hyatt Huntington and her husband established it as a sanctuary for American sculpture. The park also features a zoo with animals indigenous to the region. Comparing it with other parks, I found Brookgreen Gardens to be unique for its collection of sculptures. Its calm and peaceful ambiance provided humans with an opportunity to engage with nature and art.
