Discovering the Charm of Bristol Ferry
My journey to Bristol Ferry was full of surprises. This quaint little village is situated on the eastern shore of Narragansett Bay and offers breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding hills. The village is steeped in history and has been an important ferry landing since the 17th century. I explored the winding streets, admiring the old colonial homes and learning about the fascinating history of the area. The highlight of my trip was visiting the historic Herreshoff Marine Museum, where I learned about the incredible legacy of the Herreshoff brothers, who revolutionized boat design in the late 19th century. Overall, Bristol Ferry is a must-see for anyone interested in Rhode Island's history and natural beauty.
