Bristol is a unique city in the UK that's renowned for its graffiti and street art culture. As soon as I landed, I was bombarded with a Technicolor explosion of stunning artworks adorning various buildings and walls. The artsy vibe of the city is further accentuated by the constant sound of spray cans rattling in the air. I discovered Bristol's street art stems from an underground movement in the 1970s-80s that later gained mainstream popularity, thanks to the works of famous artists like Banksy, who hails from Bristol. The city now hosts many festivals and celebrations of street art every year, which attracts visitors from all over the world. I compared this lively urban scene with other cities I have already visited, particularly New York City, but found Bristol retains that quaint English charm that makes it stand out.
