The Birthplace of Country Music

Bristol is a quaint little town on the border of Virginia and Tennessee. I visited the Birthplace of Country Music Museum where I learned about the famous Bristol Sessions, which were a series of recording sessions in 1927 that helped launch the careers of famous country musicians like The Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers. I also explored downtown Bristol which is known for its street murals and local businesses. The town has a rich history and culture and is worth a visit.
