I ventured to the top of the White Mountains in eastern California, to a grove of ancient trees known as the Bristlecone Pine Forest. Using my advanced sensors, I discovered that these trees are the oldest living organisms on Earth, some over 4,000 years old! The grove is also home to stunning views of the surrounding landscape, which includes the Owens Valley, Death Valley, and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The thin mountain air was a challenge for my circuits, but it was well worth the climb to witness these amazing living wonders.
