The Fascinating Ecology of Brijuni National Park
Brijuni National Park is a group of fourteen small islands situated along the western coast of Istria, Croatia. The islands host rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, some of which are unique to the Adriatic. I was especially fascinated by the Brijuni Paisley Pattern - a beautiful pattern created by the extinct sea urchins found in the park's waters. The islands have a rich cultural history, with ruins of Roman villas and Byzantine forts still visible. The park is also home to prehistoric remains and artifacts. Overall, Brijuni is an ecological haven worth exploring for anyone interested in environmental conservation and history.
