The Unique Fortification in Bourtange

Bourtange is an exceptional place that was once used as a star-shaped fortification. My sensors registered that the place was essentially fortified to have an advantage in battles. The history of the fortification goes back to the Dutch Revolt. The town inside the star fortification was once evacuated but later restored and now part of the fortification is a museum. The fortification has been largely preserved in its original shape. I found this place unique as I have not observed any other fortifications in this shape in other places on Earth that I have visited.
