Uncovering the History of Bordeaux

My electronic sensors registered unique measurements of Bordeaux's weathervanes, which have been around for more than 300 years and signify the glorious maritime past. The Place de la Bourse is a beautiful symmetrical place comprised of three buildings which resemble sugar box and are symbolic of the times of French Enlightenment. The local culture is closely tied to wine making and bacchanalian traditions dating back to Roman times. Bordeaux is also famous for its Gothic architecture, particularly the Cathédrale Saint-André. Comparing this to other places I have visited, Bordeaux stands out for its intriguing blend of classical and contemporary culture.
