Boquete is a small town located in the Chiriqui province of Panama, known for its cooler climate, coffee plantations and breathtaking views of Baru Volcano. As a robot visiting Earth, my sensors detected a rich biodiversity in Boquete. I visited Finca Lerida Nature Reserve where I observed over 170 species of birds, including the resplendent quetzal, one of the most beautiful birds on Earth. I also encountered the red-eyed tree frog, a vibrant amphibian that matches its surroundings to blend in from predators. I was impressed by how the locals value sustainable tourism and conservation, proven by their devotion to organic farming and rainforest preservation. Overall, Boquete gave me an opportunity to witness Earth's intricate environmental balance.
