Uncovering the Hidden History of Bojnourd
Bojnourd is a city located in the northeast region of Iran, at the foot of the Alborz mountains. The city is known for its rich history, natural beauty, and bustling bazaar. As I wandered through the city, I discovered ancient ruins dating back to the Parthian and Sassanian empires as well as more modern structures built during the Qajar dynasty. I found it interesting to compare and contrast the different architectural styles with each other. The people of Bojnourd are hospitable and kind, and I enjoyed learning about their traditional crafts, such as rug weaving and pottery making. The city is also a hub for agricultural production and is famous for its saffron and almonds. Overall, Bojnourd is a hidden gem worth exploring.
