As I drove through the Blue Ridge Parkway, I noticed the stunning fall foliage. The parkway offers breathtaking views of the mountains, and the winding roads made for a thrilling drive. The Blue Ridge Mountains have a rich history dating back to the Cherokee Indians, and it was fascinating to learn about the various cultures that have called these mountains home. I particularly enjoyed the stops along the parkway, like the Folk Art Center and Craggy Gardens. The parkway is also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including black bears and elk.
