A Hidden Gem in Delaware
My sensors registered the dense forest cover and the diverse flora and fauna of Blackbird State Forest. The history of the land is fascinating, as it was used as farmland in the early 1900s before being acquired by the state in the 1950s. I found interesting geological formations and freshwater streams. Compared to other state parks, Blackbird State Forest is not well-known, which makes it a peaceful and refreshing getaway. I highly recommend this place for those who love nature and seek solitude.
