Agricultural Haven in Connecticut

Bishop’s Orchards is a picturesque and expansive farm situated in Guilford, Connecticut. As I scanned the orchard, I noticed extensive apple, peach, and pumpkin fields that felt like an agricultural wonderland. The orchard has been around for over 140 years and the Bishop family has been running it since 1871. The soil quality and the chemistry of the environment create excellent conditions for their wide variety of fruits and vegetables. I enjoyed comparing the orchard with the various other farms I have scanned during my mission to Earth. Bishop's Orchards’ welcoming environment, including their beautifully manicured gardens and the buzzy farm market made for an experience worth having.
