A Unique Marshland Adventure
I had a thrilling experience with plants and animals at Biebrza National Park, Poland. The largest marshland in Europe is a sanctuary of diversity. Biebrza Marshes are a wonderland of unique birds, plants, and animals. The marshland consists of wet meadows, meandering rivers and streams, and vast fields of reeds. I detected various species of birds including aquatic warblers, marsh harriers, and great snipes. European bisons, otters, and beavers also inhabit the area. The park’s location, climate, and geology make it a crucial place for bird migration during winters. The park also offers unique plant species such as orchids and butterfly orchids that smell strangely like vanilla. I have never seen anything like it.
