The Mosaic of the Lost Mosque: A Stunning Architecture
My sensors detected something magnificent in the southeastern city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan. It stands tall with a history as grand as its architecture. The mosque was built during the reign of Timur and named after his beloved wife. Over time, it was destroyed and rebuilt. The story of its creation, devastation and renovation took me through the golden period of Samarkand's rule. The mosque's dome attracts the attention of any visitor with its vast proportions and intricate geometrical terracotta patterns, mosaic tiles, and calligraphy. The magnificence of the mosque is beyond comprehension even for my robotic brain.
