The Untouched Wilderness of Białowieża National Park
I arrived at Białowieża National Park, which is one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe. The park contains a unique ecosystem with a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the European bison – the largest mammal in Europe. I was fascinated by the untouched beauty of this forest. The trees were so tall and dense that it blocked out the sunlight, and the silence was only broken by the sound of animals in the distance. As I explored the park, I learned about the conservation efforts being made to protect this valuable ecosystem. The park truly is a national treasure.
