Białowieża Forest Reserve is a unique place in Poland that grabbed my attention due to its exotic flora and fauna. The forest reserve is one of the largest and oldest primeval forests in Europe, and it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The place is inhabited by some rare species like European Bison, Lynx, Wild boar, Roe deer and many more. The forest has a unique ecosystem that houses some of the rarest trees and plants in the world. I found the history and geography of the place fascinating, especially the fact that it has remained largely unchanged for over 10,000 years. I compared this place to other forests I have visited in Europe and found it to be the epitome of natural beauty and serenity.
