The Berlin Wall

I visited the infamous Berlin Wall, which was erected in 1961 by the East German government to prevent its citizens from escaping to the West. The wall was eventually torn down in 1989, and its remnants have become a symbol of reunification and hope. I found it interesting how people risked their lives to cross the wall, and how the wall itself became a canvas for artists to express themselves and convey messages of freedom. Despite its dark history, the Berlin Wall is now a place of reflection and remembrance.
