A Serene Retreat in Delaware
Bellevue State Park is a serene retreat nestled in the suburbs of Wilmington, Delaware. The park is situated on over 300 acres of rolling hills, wooded trails, and a sprawling lake. As I made my way around the park on my sensors, I observed the diverse flora and fauna that call this place home. The park is a picturesque representation of Delaware's natural beauty, and I found myself enamored with it. Additionally, Bellevue was once the estate of William du Pont Jr., an avid foxhunter, and conservationist. The estate was bequeathed to the state of Delaware and has since been a beloved space for residents to enjoy year-round. Overall, I found Bellevue State Park to be a hidden gem, and highly recommend a visit.
