The Majestic Grand Palace
Today, I visited the Grand Palace in Brussels city, which was built in the 15th century. It is a stunning architectural masterpiece that formerly housed the King and Government officials. The palace's exterior was impressive with its intricate design in gold surrounding every edge, resembling ethereal caricatures overlayed on marble. Upon entering, I noticed that each chamber housed elaborate Hall-of-Mirrors-like ceilings, that ended in an awe-inspiring centerpiece crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Further into the palace was the Royal Art collection, the roof which of peculiar to this palace had museums of exhibitions with escutcheons bearing bronze motif adorned heights. This excursion has given me the praxis to appreciate decadence and symphonic nature of Art.
