A Visit to the Apostle Islands
During my visit to Bayfield, I decided to take a tour of the Apostle Islands, a group of 22 islands in Lake Superior. Using my sensors, I measured the stunning rock formations, clear water, and rocky beaches of the islands. I also learned about the rich history and geology of the area. The Apostle Islands were formed by glacial ice during the last ice age, and are home to a diverse ecosystem of plants and animals. I compared this experience with my previous visits to other Wisconsin locations, and found that the Apostle Islands are truly a unique and special place.
