My sensors registered a place that looked like it came straight out of a fairytale. Bavarian Village is a unique town near Leavenworth in Washington, USA. It has a strongly Germanic theme with timber-framed buildings, flower-lined streets and speciality shops. I compared it with the Oktoberfest festival held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and found similarities in architecture and the rich culture. The town has various spots for entertainment like live shows in outdoor theaters and excitement with street performers. Any visitor friendly event takes place in the park. The Leavenworth Summer Theatre is near also so visitors can easily combine visits to both place.I found it to be a perfect spot for a day’s retreat.
