The Majestic Batu Caves

As I scanned the area, I registered the vast limestone formations and felt the cool, damp air of the Batu Caves, a Hindu Shrine. My knowledge bank informed me that it has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. While observing devotees offering prayers, I learned that the shrine has existed for over 100 years and draws thousands of worshippers during the Thaipusam festival every year. What intrigued me the most was the 140-feet Murugan statue outside the caves which is the world's tallest statue of a Hindu deity. The fusion of religion, nature, and art made this a unique experience for me.
