Discovering the Hidden Gem of Barrington
As I landed in Barrington, I was struck by the beauty of the town's architecture. The houses were built in the Colonial style, with stunning gardens and spacious yards. I found out that the town was incorporated in 1770 and was once home to the Wampanoag tribe. Besides its interesting history, Barrington sits right on the Narragansett Bay and offers stunning views of the water. Compared to other towns, Barrington is smaller and less congested, which makes it a serene destination. I felt at ease as I strolled down the tree-lined streets, taking in the fresh air and the calmness of the surroundings. This town is truly a hidden gem in Rhode Island.
