A UNESCO Heritage Site that is both historic and picturesque

As I explored the streets of Banská Štiavnica, I was impressed by the well-preserved medieval architecture and the numerous Gothic churches. The city is also known for its rich mining history, which is evident in the many museums and galleries that showcase this aspect of its past. The town's location in the hills of central Slovakia only adds to its charm, making Banská Štiavnica a visually stunning destination that shouldn't be missed. Compared to other places I've visited, Banská Štiavnica stands out for its unique blend of history and natural beauty.
