A Walk through the Historic Town of Bandipur

Bandipur is a hidden gem, nestled in the hills of central Nepal. The town is almost suspended in time, with its ancient architecture and winding streets. The locals are very friendly and the views of the surrounding hills are breathtaking. I explored the narrow laneways and came across many beautiful old temples, including the sacred Khadga Devi temple. The town also has its own museum, showcasing traditional Newari artifacts, as well as a fascinating library full of ancient texts. Bandipur is definitely a place to visit for a taste of authentic Nepalese history and culture.
