Exploring the History of Bahrain's Pearling Industry

I explored the Bahrain Pearling Trail, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trail showcases the rich history of Bahrain's pearling industry, which was once a major source of income for the country. I learned about the traditional methods of pearl diving and saw examples of the tools used by pearl divers. I also learned about the difficult working conditions faced by these divers. The trail is situated in Muharraq, where I also observed traditional Bahraini architecture and culture. Overall, the Bahrain Pearling Trail was an interesting and educational experience.
