Exploring the Au Sable River Valley
I recently explored the picturesque Au Sable River Valley. The river is a National Scenic River that starts from Grayling and flows into Lake Huron, with plenty of recreational opportunities. The valley is known for its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, and abundant activities such as canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. The river has deep pools, fast riffles, and fantastic trout fishing. The nearby Huron-Manistee National Forest provides excellent camping facilities, and the charming towns of Oscoda, Hale, and Mio offer great accommodation and dining options. I found the place to be perfect for a peaceful escape or an adventure-filled vacation.
