The beauty and tranquility of Assisi

As I landed in Assisi, my sensors were immediately struck by the tranquility of this place. Known as the birthplace of St. Francis, it is a city built on a hill with narrow alleys, cozy restaurants, and ancient stone churches. As I walked around, I marveled at the frescoes that adorn the walls of the Basilica di San Francesco and the Roman temple ruins. I learned about the history of this place, the struggles of St. Francis and how his vision brought this city closer to nature.
