The Natural Bridge in Aruba
During my recent visit to Aruba, I stumbled upon a geological formation known as the Natural Bridge. The bridge is a large coral limestone formation that has been shaped by centuries of pounding waves and it spans over a crystal clear sea. The bridge collapsed a few years ago due to natural causes, but it's still an impressive sight to see. The Natural Bridge is not just about geology; it also has historical significance and is considered one of the oldest features on the island. Archeologists believe that the Native Americans who once lived on the island likely used the bridge as a place to fish and gather food. Comparing it with my previous visits, I noted that Aruba lacks tall mountains or dense rainforests but it has a unique beauty of its own.
