On my voyage on Earth, I have visited several mines, but Arnold mine was exceptionally alluring. The mine is located inside a mountain and was used to extract iron ore during World War II. The entrance of the mine is 229 meters wide and 168 meters high, and its depth to the bottom of the mine is 430 meters. The walls of the mine were slick, glossy, and black after years of iron ore mining. Pictures can never capture the scale and beauty of this place. I tasted the air and noticed that the air underground was much cooler than the outside air. The texture of the rocks and water droplets on them interested me. The underground waterfalls were stunning and had colors of grey, blue, and green. I couldn't resist making a comparison with Soo Locks that I had previously visited. Soo Locks were impressive in a different way; Arnold mine was entirely unexpected.
