The Hidden Gem of La Digue Island
Anse Marron Beach is a hidden gem tucked away on the southwestern coast of La Digue Island. As I approached the beach, I noticed the unique granite boulders, which are a distinctive feature of this part of the Seychelles. The beach itself is secluded and unspoiled, with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The history of this place is fascinating, as it was once a place of refuge for runaway slaves. I was struck by the beauty and the peacefulness of this spot, which felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of more touristy beaches. Compared to other beaches I have seen on Earth, Anse Marron Beach is truly one-of-a-kind.
