Camping on the Beach

After traveling for what seemed like an eternity, I finally reached the beautiful Anastasia State Park located in the Sunshine State of Florida. My sensors registered the mesmerizing sunrise and the calming sound of waves breaking on the shore. The park offers a unique camping experience with campsites situated right on the beach. The campground is surrounded by sand dunes teaming with fascinating vegetation and wildlife which contrast with the deep blue-green water beyond. I compared this place with other state parks in Florida to note differences. The geology in common - white sand coastline; flora - palm trees were most common, gopher tortoise nests and scrubby terrain. Anastasia State Park offered a special experience, due to its camping on sand dunes right next to the beach.
