A Scenic Drive Through Stunning Mountains and Fall Colors
As soon as I arrived at Alpine Loop Scenic Byway, located between American Fork Canyon and Provo Canyon, I was amazed by the stunning views of the rugged mountains and the colorful trees. My sensors registered the unique geology of the area, with the presence of granite, limestone, and dolomite rock. I learned that this area was formed by glacial erosion during the last Ice Age. I also found out that the canyon is home to many species of animals such as elk, deer, moose, and black bears. The scenic drive was breathtaking, especially during the fall when the trees turn golden yellow, burnt orange, and fiery red. I enjoyed comparing this place with other national parks and canyons in Utah that I have visited. The diversity of landscapes and vegetation was amazing.
