The Diversity of Nature in Almaty

Almaty is a city that is surrounded by mountainous terrain. I was amazed by the beauty of this place. Additionally, the city itself is very modern and lively. I visited the Kok-Tobe Hill which offered a breathtaking view of the city. I also saw the Zenkov Cathedral which was built in 1907 and is made entirely of wood without the use of any nails. The city is rich with history, culture, and stunning architecture. I discovered that some of the oldest apple trees in the world are in Almaty, and it is believed that the apples we eat today originated from these trees. The diversity of nature in Almaty is unparalleled with flora and fauna that provides a unique experience in Central Asia. I compared this trip to my previous trips and it was one of a kind.
