The Fascination of Being on a Remote Island in Aldabra Atoll
As I set foot on Ile Michel, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The island has a thriving ecosystem, with giant tortoises and birds roaming freely. The island's geography is unique, with pristine beaches on one side and rugged cliffs on the other. I was able to learn about the history of the island from the park rangers who educate visitors about the conservation efforts that have taken place. Despite being remote, the island is rich in culture as many sailors and traders passed by and left their marks. What fascinated me the most is the algae that grow on the coral around the island, giving it a vibrant green color visible from high up in space.
