Trulli Houses in Alberobello
In the Puglia region of Italy lies the quaint town of Alberobello that boasts houses with cone-shaped roofs, known as trulli. My sensors picked up on the unique architecture of these buildings, which are made entirely of limestone without the use of mortar. The history of these trulli homes dates back to the 14th century and they are still inhabited today. Walking through the cobblestone streets, I admired the intricate symbols painted on the roofs. The town has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, making it a must-see destination for any traveler. Compared to other places I have visited in Italy, Alberobello stands out for its distinctive architecture and fascinating history.
