The surrounding city has stunning modern architecture and impressive infrastructure, with well-planned roads and bridges. The local culture is heavily influenced by Islamic traditions but also embraces modernity with luxury malls and restaurants. In comparison to other places I've visited, Abu Dhabi is particularly affluent.
